Here is a list of frequently asked questions. If you have a question you cannot find on this list, please feel free to contact our Student and Family Minister, Steven Smith, at (903) 509-9494.

How Does the Minister Communicate with Parents?

We communicate with parents in a number of ways. Primarily through our website (risestudentministry.com) and text updates. We also put information about upcoming events in the Glenwood Family News email and through our social media outlets.

How Do I Sign My Student Up for a Trip or Event?

You can sign up for all RISE Student Ministry events through our website, risestudentministry.com. The website will also allow you to pay participation fees (if any) with a credit card. If you wish to pay by check you can sign up by contacting Steven at (903) 509-9494.

Do I Need to Fill Out a Release Form for Every Event?

You only need to fill out the RISE Student Ministry release form once a year. Depending on the event, however, there may be additional forms you will need to fill out. Those forms will be made available through email or our website.

My Student Wants to Attend a Lot of Events, But We Cannot Afford Them All. Is There Any Financial Assistance?

Absolutely! We have scholarships available for every RISE event. In fact, you will often find a scholarship option available on the online sign up forms. Do not let the lack of money be the only reason your student doesn’t attend an event.
